Science communication is often neglected during traditional science training programs. This leaves many brilliant scientists, eager to share their knowledge, wondering “How can I tell people about this?”
Luckily here at Orders of Magnitude, we are seeking to address this problem by providing training, events, and equipment for scientists to learn and practice science communication. As such, we are seeking funds to acquire the necessary science communication equipment, software, and expenses related to developing and organizing training.
Some examples include Podcast mixers and microphones, quality ring lights and videography tripods, access to professional video and media editing software, and structured training and education opportunities.

Turning Scientists Into Communicators
Orders of Magnitude is a not-for-profit science communication initiative exploring the world we live in, from the smallest particle to the observable universe! We encourage scientists to engage in science communication and train them to make their complex work more accessible and relatable.
