Maya Nikolova

Maya is a master’s student in molecular biology at the Université de Montréal. Her research is focused on understanding some of the mechanisms that drive human cancers at the molecular level. She has a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and so she is quite familiar with the complex world of living cells, as well as the not-so-complex world of biomedical research. Maya is excited to create content explaining concepts from both of these worlds.
