Helena, made in Brazil.
She did her Bachelors in Biotechnology at the University of Brasília, where she worked mainly with X-ray crystallography and was one of the founders of a SciCom group named “PETi Biotec”. Now Helena is pursuing a Masters in Bioinformatics at the University of British Columbia, where she will be working with Cryo-EM methodology. Helena loves protein structures and sharing information with other people, so she is excited to join Orders of Magnitude and produce some interesting content.
Her non-academic loves include cats, RPG, Kpop and coffee.
